Williams is a major provider of critical maintenance, construction, and specialty services to the conventional power market (fossil, hydro, natural gas). For decades, the company has performed general maintenance and specialty services, including coatings application, lead and asbestos abatement, insulation, and roofing systems installations on a single plant and a utility system-wide basis.
The company has been a significant utility partner involved in the maintenance of several multi-plant utilities and has supported the construction of several natural gas plants since 2000. But the most significant project in this market performed by Williams is the maintenance and modifications contract currently held by a large joint venture of which Williams is a key partner. This joint venture has been in continuous operation since 1992 for a major utility with fossil, hydro, and natural gas plants.
