Project Description
Upgrade and expand Blacks Ford Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) located at 5145-2 Long Leaf Pine Parkway in North West St. Johns County. This facility is a regional plant, treating an average of over 2 million gallons of wastewater daily. The expansion project will provide the ability to treat up to 6 million gallons per day for the purpose of reclaiming treated wastewater for irrigation purposes.

Project Highlights

  • Bioreactors 1 & 2 are almost complete. The latest milestone achieved was the completion of the 138 wall pours. This tank is 198’-8” x 373’-10” x 22’.
  • A total of approximately 14,000 yards of concrete has been poured to date.
  • Approximately 1,500 tons of rebar has been installed.
